What did you do this weekend?
- met the mister for drinks @ The Pencil Factory, then dinner @ Queen's Hideaway
- Saturday food safari: South Village Real Food market; Formaggio Essex; Saxelby Cheesemongers
- drank with a gaggle of nerds and one little dog @ Kettle of Fish
- got a nightcap @ Black Bean Grille
- Orchard St. and Tompkins Square Park Greenmarkets on Sunday
- waited (and waited and waited) for our FreshDirect order
- poached chunks of blackfin tuna loin and packed it in a jar under olive oil
- had some awesome grilled Dines Farms hotdogs
- made two batches of salsa (one green; one red)
- made one batch of guacamole
- watered and weeded (a little) the garden
- sweated. a lot.
